I tried all my cars and the values are really high.

A 2003 Toyota Sienna with 200,000 miles isn't worth $5,500 in Good condition. I mean I wish but no. Maybe $3,000 under crazy current market environments but probably more like $2,000-2,500.

Likewise a 2006 Toyota Corolla with 180,000 miles isn't worth $7,000.

But great job OP at trying this. It's a service that's really needed.

I would suggest figuring out a way to clean up the options for the trim levels. Some are just random garbage that describe part of the car - I had one trim option that was literally "1.8L" which refers to the engine. Along with 30 other options, many of which were repeats of each other.

No longer Catholic, but Matthew 23 has to be interpreted in context since Christ also says to call no one a teacher but we don't freak about that at all.

Also, St. Paul says you don't have many Fathers in the faith but he is one.

So in combination it means that no one on Earth replaces God as Father and Lord of all. Pope, Patriarch, Bishop, Priest whoever, insofar as they submit to God, submit to them. Otherwise resist and refute them.

I own an Apple Watch 6, but I'll tell you the problem: charging $400 for a watch.

If they got down to $100 or so, you'd see wide adoption. Which is why the Wyze Watch at $20 is so fascinating to me. At this price, you can just buy one instead of a Casio.

It's a big deal because the numbers will (hopefully) get large quickly.

A $3M account that pays an extra 0.1% per year is dinged for $3,000 a year, every year. The cumulative compounded effect over 20 years is north of $75K.

In high school, I recall drooling over a 1GB hard drive in Computer Shopper magazine for $1,699.

I'm guessing that in 30 years we'll be looking at 1PB drives in the $150 range, inflation adjusted. What a time to be alive.

I have 7 kids, my wife stays at home and homeschools them. We live frugally. Outside of enormous COL areas like San Fran, NYC, LA, etc. it can absolutely be done.

The first couple kids are the most expensive, by the way. And thrift stores are my best friends.

Well, I could care less about most environmental regulation - I rather think it's a waste of time and resources - but I am OK with supporting certain laws that are supported by people who I respect, even though I personally could care less.

My hope would be that people would consider their utility vs. the utility of all those who also want something. I've certainly supported modest tax increases because my neighbors were passionately in favor where my own view would be to oppose it.

Is it too much to hope that people will consider broader societal interests and not just their own narrow ones?

It's neither necessary nor sufficient.

One doesn't have to be affected by rape to oppose it.

I can reflect that there are others whose opinions I value. And thus throw support behind issues that, if left to my own opinion in a vacuum, would be of little concern.
