It probably does. On my 13" MacBook I need to zoom out to read A List Apart now. If I zoom out two steps in Firefox it takes the font size from 18px to ~14px (guess), which is much more comfortable to read.
It's sad that we haven't gotten further with typography on the web. The solution to "some people have to zoom in" should't be "other people have to zoom out".

Vacation in Sweden (I think it's like this in other European countries as well, but I don't know for sure) doesn't always mean that you go away somewhere, or at least not for the entire vacation. Say if you have four continuous weeks of vacation during the summer (June to August here in Sweden), which is very common, you might be gone for a week or two, but spend the rest of the time at home.
Since almost everyone have the large part of their vacation during the summer, there is a good chance that some of your friends and family will have vacation at the same time, so you just relax and enjoy life for the rest of the time.
(Or you can just spend the entire vacation repainting your house and be stressed about all the stuff you have to do now that you have the time...)

Yeah, that definitely depends on your type of company. For example, some startups build stuff that they aim to sell to larger companies or corporations, then you might need to hire someone to help start the sales process, long before your product is "done". Or in contrast, you might not be able to sell/release until a certain point in time, and it might be better to hire programmers so you can reach that point sooner.
Probably obvious, but it also depends on funding. Some startups can afford to hire a lot of programmers and build stuff for a longer time before they have to make money. Others have less funding and need to make money as soon as they can.

One thing I wanted was to use any image in the container, which shai also seem to support in the same way (mounting a custom entrypoint script). And same reason for not using devcontainers - make it easy to start a new container.
