on: Extensions in Firefox 58
I missed this when chrome removed a similar addon. It was an awesome feature, would love to see it make a comeback.

on: Gmail Launches Add-ons
I completely agree, I found inbox a little while ago and it's amazing. It's cut my time spent on emails by a factor of 10, and I love the inbuilt reminder system.
There are a few minor annoyances but the massive time savings are well worth dealing with them.

on: Ask HN: Are you still using shared hosting for anything?
A typical local business website probably gets a few hundred hits a day, which is pretty much nothing.

on: How the NSA Identified Satoshi Nakamoto
This article seems to be full of baseless claims with no proof, I agree with others, looks to just be a product ad. If they knew who he was, and he had committed any offenses he would have already been arrested.

on: Ask HN: What happened to binary sizes?
A lot of modern desktop apps these days tend to run in electron or similar and require the overhead of large libraries/components (chromium for electron).
A lot the bloat seems to come unnecessary duplication of resources, but since storage space and bandwidth is no longer as much of a premium I don't think it's much of an issue anymore.

on: Bangkok plans to ban all street food by year′s end
My first overseas solo trip was to Thailand, and I had so much awesome street food, guess they are trying to change the perception of Bangkok. I wonder what will happen to khaosan? If they killed the street they would be losing a lot tourism money since it's pretty much regarded as the most popular backpacker street in asia/the world.

There is a fairly large australian food delivery startup with the same name. Just might make it hard to rank your site, have you considered this?

on: Ask HN: What do you want to learn in 2017?
I'm going to learn it as well, a fair few jobs seems to note Docker as a requirement, or suggestion. I've never used containers before, so it should be fun.
