I also use Jekyll which is a static blog generator. I use Bitbucket to directly edit the pages and posts on my blog and when I commit a change my blog is automatically regenerated via service hooks. That might be a bit more setup than you want but it works nicely and is easy to maintain.

You need to calm down and slow down. You are only 22/23. You have so much time ahead of you and you have to walk before you can run. You have burned yourself out by too high expectations. It's not as easy as having an idea, hacking away at it for a few months and then reaping the reward.
I would suggest lowering your expectations over the short term and trying to come up with some realistic goals for the next few months. Not "launch great project in 6 months" but "talk to 5 people about the validity of feature X in the 7 days" etc.
You've already helped yourself by acknowledging the problem, writing about it and telling your family and friends.

- Some sort of visual timeline would also be great, i.e. the ability to flip through screenshots with a javascript slider or something
- Export to gifs of video might be useful
- The ability to tag information to certain screenshots would be useful for noting changes and milestones (like in Google Analytics)

What is happening to people? When you are insulating yourself from nearly every aspect of day-to-day normality just to be able to concentrate without distraction there is a problem and it's likely you are working to much. I'm all up for travelling but this just seems like an easy way to remove yourself from the world to get more done. Why not just check into a mental health clinic with a wifi dongle - you won't have to cook or clean and they'll be perfectly equipped to deal with you once the monumental burnout hits.

and the Mailpile project on Indiegogo which will hopefully work as my email frontend on a local server:

I'm planning on buying a small server for running all my services on a VPN (mail server, GitLab, Mailpile etc.) and a decent NAS with RAID'ed backups of server + lima drives + time machine and if possible send that to a safe off-site backup.
