This is a capitalism country. We reward individuals who are rich. What is wrong with rich kids getting into college? This is the bonus they got from creating more economy growth for the society. And to be honest, the 1% income limit is misleading. The real rich people will laugh at the 1% income threshold. With 1% income in nyc, you can't even raise a family in decent life style.

I was gonna put up something full of sarcasm. Then I realize engineers are the least responsible for enterprise business failure. This could happen to any of us. Company goes under water and job security fades away. Thanks for contributing to the open source world. And best of luck to all of those brother and sister engineers.

Yeah, I literally laughed when I saw this. I worked at Goldman Ball Sachs for a little while. Tell you what, you will get discriminated by management if you don't have ivy on your resume. I have had a md talking straight to my face that he thinks I am lucky to get this job because the people around me all graduated with a phd from Havard, Princeton and Yale. I don't even give a shit.

Yeah, this almost got me. Until I start to see a bunch of 3-7 years olds making 6 digits. I have no idea toddler modeling could make this much.

Me: Mom, y didn't you sign me up for this?

Mom: Cuz you never asked for it...

Me: Uhhhh, I was little. I barely knew anything.

This is something I simply cannot agree with. People are using ROBOTS.TXT for all kinds of reasons, such as blocking unwanted careless webcrawler or indexing single page application. I mean come on. How can you say something like that just because eliminating ROBOTS.TXT would potentially benefit your business.

No, definitely not. Try to find some book in the topic that you are interested in. If it is electromagnetism, go for the black book with four equations printed. If it is quantum mechanics, I like the Sakurai book.

I was a physics major. These 3 volumes used to be so dry that I can't even turn a page. But those are real good memory considering I am now just a web developer digging code just for the money. Hey, at least I can show off to my former classmates on how much I am making. Don't you pity me.
