Today a local bar announced that they were reopening, and my husband asked if they were hosting social gatherings as we’ve been working to find an LGBTQ-friendly space. He received a great deal of venom and deleted his comment.
The selling point given to me is the same as the one stated here in the article. Nextdoor brings people together to build stronger neighborhoods.
Our neighborhood is small and our house is not inconspicuous. It’s been a very quiet afternoon for both of us, and we’re moving pretty slow.
