I'd say the living situation at home makes a big difference. You may have a good living situation and good social interactions with family at home. The camp that likes the physical office may be a lot more isolated if they had to work from home. It's also the same reason a lot of folks like going to coffeeshops and other public places to feel less isolated while working.

I remember making some of the more complicated ones as a kid but completely forgot about them as an adult. This brings back so many fond memories.

I just tried Scratch to make a quick little animation and I must say that it's actually pretty amazing. I've known about it for close to a decade but never really tried it out. I just spent a few minutes playing around and I was amazed by how easy it was to program a simple little animation.
