I would listen to my inside voice. The statements made by the interviewer were condescending and disrespectful. I would hold out for a company that respects and values; and realizes the great qualities I hold.

I think you are the only one that can determine whether you are wrong or not. I think a true friend will understand and want the best for you and vice versa. Questions to ask yourself 1. Is there anything proprietary about my startup 2. How would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot 3. How will I feel if the startup does well and my job stinks and I am unhappy or worse fired 4. Do you mind being an employee as opposed to a co-founder/entrepreneur of a startup

Unless one has an original product or one of a kind product there is no way to charge less than Amazon. Well, there is one way and that is if Amazon runs out of the product you happen to have then you will be allowed to sell yours.

Amazon monitors the trend and has the purchasing power to buy trending items and sell at a low price. Amazon does not allow you to set your prices lower than theirs.
