You are right, peoples who spend money believing them needs to know what happened to their money. Founder says he learn a lot from this project, but peoples didn't fund this project for his Entrepreneur education, they spend it for the product they told will be available one day. I don't think its that difficult to launch the App they planned with that long time period they took (1 and half year)

And I hope their software would eventually support Android , which is really awesome for cheap android phones without WiDi. Even if they dont officially support some one would eventually port it to Android devices. Which makes it out of box solution for any Android tv stick.

If you dont have a usb port on tv(or if power is not enough to drive the device) you can always get a usb charger right ? Which is definitely less hassle than 10m HDMI cable.

Their software is open source, that means if funding goes success and they release their software we could use any mini pc running ubuntu (or raspberry pi) as the dongle for tv.

http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ubuntu-edge .. but this phone wont be available for purchase if you don't fund the campaign even if its success/failure . Canonical wont continue manufacturing phone and its exclusive to peoples who have funded, if its successful you will have to pay at least 30% extra to get it online from some one who brought from campaign (In case he want to sell it). So its wise to support the campaign so that you will be able to grab the phone if it is manufactured.
