Summary of the article by ChatGPT:

There are a lot of smart people who do research and write papers about what they discover. But sometimes, these papers are not easily available for everyone to read. They might be behind a paywall or take a long time to become available. Well, now the European Union (EU) wants to change that. They want all research papers that are paid for with public money to be available right away for everyone to read, without any fees. They also want to support ways of publishing these papers that don't cost money. This could be a big change for how research papers are shared with the world!

I had a similar problem. I was waking up in the middle of the night not able to get back to sleep for hours and then overslept in the morning feeling groggy for the rest of the day.

Here's what I did: 1. Sleep alone in a separate bed since your SO other might wake you up inadvertently - this helped me 2. Wim Hof method for a few weeks: deep breathing and cold showers in the morning.

I'm not sure which of these worked. I did these two things simultaneously and my sleep significantly improved over a couple of weeks. I'm fully recovered in the morning, feeling energized and can actually remember dreams which never happened before. I don't need Melatonin anymore and can even have an espresso in the morning. Good luck!

I started writing a table:

  start_time, end_time, activity, project
  08:00, 08:30, emails,
  08:00, 08:35, facebook, procrastination
  08:35: 09:00, work, project1
  09:00: 09:30, hackernews, procrastination
It helped me tremendously to reduce the amount of wasted time. The key is to be absolutely, brutally honest in this table.
