Cosine similarity of two normalized vectors is just the length of the projection of one vector on the other. That gives a very intuitive geometric meaning to cosine similarity.

It boils down to the DoJ wants to force "Super Apps" like WeChat. That is something I absolutely don't want because then everyone will be forced to use it, like in China. Super Apps are what's intrinsically anticompetitive.

Calculating the mean field of a thousand electrons is easy for a classical computer. Calculating the exchange and correlation energies of a thousand interacting electrons is not. Quantum computers would have an enormous advantage there.

Most of what's in these handouts, and much, much else, is just in their heads--at least the part that's relevant to their field, obviously an organic chemist is going to have slightly different things memorized than a geochemist.
