If it had vim key bindings, I might try it, but without them, I don't see how it's worth the effort to switch.

I could see this for prose, but this seems all but useless for programming. Even if you combined it with copilot or something I think the time you'd spend fixing what it presented would make you slower in the long run.

I use karabiner to turn off the internal keyboard when I connect an external keyboard. It let's me put a tenkeyless Thinkpad keyboard right over the MacBook keyboard.

The only exception is that the power key still functions.

Couldn't agree more. The article is half-baked without an understanding for how much of the developer community relies on macs and how important that is to Apple. I know I personally don't use a single Apple product other than the Macbook Pro that is so ingrained into my workflow I can't imagine how I'd work without it. Doing non-dot net work in Windows is a joke and there is no *nix supported laptop with enough ease of use to get out of the way so I can get anything done.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, most of the online materials seem to be very specific projects with code samples or just entirely reference (class listings and descriptions). It seems like the books are where you get into the deeper topics, but they get outdated relatively quickly.
