In my experience, I find Google business hours to be more accurate than Yelp. Not sure why, but I think restaurants find Google easier or more important to update when they adjust their hours slightly.

Totally agree that reduction of pain is a worthy cause. I am also vegan for this same reason. Animals in factory farms face continuous torture (look at Dominion or other undercover investigations to learn more). Once I learned this, I could no longer enjoy animal products.

I feel the same way. Hundreds of resources for learning programming online, but little else. I would love to take a class on "Building plant based proteins" but can't find anything online.

Maybe my social circles are different, but I have noticed that there are way more women than men at vegan events. (even in the Bay Area). There are some stats I've seen, but I don't have them handy. So I think not eating meat could improve romantic odds!
