Do you guys have high hopes for video data? Were there early results that showed promise for kinetic data?

This was a fascinating read. I wonder if anyone has done an analysis on the FT structures of various types of data from molecular structures to time series data. Are all domains different, or do they share patterns?

I would imagine trying to compare a purely imaginary number (3i) to a real number (3) would suffice.

on: Nanoplastic Ingestion Causes Neurological Deficits
Tap water contains about 1.67–2.08 ug/ml of nanoplastics on the larger side (
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S00139...)
So this article was working with concentrations 10x larger on mice (usually worse ability to filter). Beyond that, they admitted that microplastics did not induce an effect which is most of the plastics found in the ocean, etc...

None of this addresses the consumer issue. You need to display this information to users and they need to both understand it and trust it. That is what the current system has.

on: SolidJS 12k Hackathon
For those who don't know, SolidJS is an alternative front-end framework that should feel super intuitive for anyone who has worked with React. It is faster, smaller, and better (my objective personal opinion). There is some cool stuff going on under the hood, and Ryan Carniato (who started it), is a wizard. So if you have ever struggled with useEffect and other React hooks (so everyone), you should give it a try.

In fact the Georgia Tech Network (which I am using right now) actually blocks their website because it flags .xyz domains as malicious.

I find it hilarious, this is probably why Jack left Twitter, he obviously has bigger plans with Square. But also, the domain is block.xyz. Could he not get the .com domain?

I would say that's quite ridiculous. While the serum is very important when experimenting, later on the goal is to grow the cells serum-free (from what I understand). These types of cells would die from any high exposure to petroleum...
