on: Lenin was a mushroom
I thought it was because of some weird laws coming through to limit small commercial gardening through licensing, and it blew totally out of proportion as people misunderstood it.

The ability to add a lock screen message is under 'security & privacy' on System Preferences. I feel like that's not the right place to put it, but I don't know what would be.

Why just take the head of the fish? Take the rest of the body, and by association it'll have the largest flow on effect. With LeRoux out of the scene, it's not like everyone else will just suddenly stop.

on: I switched to Android after 7 years of iOS
I don't think that really serves your argument - phonearena.com post a lot of stuff like that either as reference for people who Google the right question, or because the writing effort:ad revenue ratio is working in their favour.

Why not hand in the characters in 4pt on a single page each? Make it double sided to make it a little more feasible. 233 characters per page is just about nothing at that size, I don't get why they decided to stop at 11 pages.

on: How I have lost over 100 pounds and don’t know how
I don't know if you've visited r/fitness or r/gainit, but metabolism really only accounts for a variance in about 200 calories. The big thing holding skinny people back is that they pretty much aren't eating enough of the good stuff - sure a skinny person might eat 3 cheeseburgers in a sitting but it doesn't help that their only exercise is cardio, or that it's the only substantial thing they actually eat all day. Many self professed skinnyfat people who claim they eat like a horse are shocked to find that they aren't consuming nearly as much calories as they think they are when it's all being tracked.
Did you actually religiously track your calories in/out?

on: Bono predicted, Woz endorsed it
This may sound foolish, but what actually is it? I don't have the time to watch the videos, and I'm on my phone and there's no text only 'about' to be read. From what I gather, it's a music social network that puts you in contact with people nearby with the same music taste? It's like scrobbling on last.fm, but with something special than 'Bono predicted' and Woz liked? After his comments voicing support for the Great Firewall as a method of preventing music piracy, I don't really pay much attention to Bono.
