had they been smart enough, perhaps the company would have been in better share than it is today, in regard to smartphone warfare.

is't it the registrar we are talking about, who would register a domain name himself, if you search it using their website. Only to find, you would have no choice for 5 days except to register it with them or wait for 5 days to register with someone else. 'douchebag' is seemingly an innocent word for this kind of business.

>Back in December, the domain registration and hosting company tested a new system that would automatically register any domains searched for by users of its site. That system went live last weekend, meaning users doing a search found the domain they wanted became unavailable and held by Network Solutions shortly afterwards.

If all human beings on earth used the resources as much as an average American does, it would need the resources of the 7 earth to meet the demand.

Poor country have larger populations, but they ain't using earth resources as much.

What Gates is trying to do, transfer the resources to poor people to make up for this disproportion of resources due to wealth possessed by the comparatively richer people.

bam! it's cool. I signed in only yesterday, and there was no sign of new design it's a pleasant surprise. ;)

Update: I spoke too early, upon signing into my account and my domain section is old. it's looking creepy, 2014 design and 1992 one inside it :/

I would hate to say this, but people here and there, are cashing in NSA fiasco. I would have loved it more, if this was more focused on 'features' than playing with people's emotions. this is valid for everything currently cashing-in NSA issue.

As for, NSA spying how exactly can this phone ensure 100% secrecy. Given a user would have to use the same apps, and above all, the carrier that other smartphone users use.

Point is, US Govt is hellbent on spying on you. And they will no matter what. Either change the US Govt, or suck it up. Nothing else is gonna work.

I don't how I feel about this, right after watching the 'her' trailer. I am speechless.

I am going against the wind. It's not only stupid but also ugly.

Having your bedroom near or inside a kitchen is a total chaos.

>I think technology is the enabling factor behind the tiny house movement.

Technology has helped most persons own a 'palace' which was only possible for super-rich in the past, due to lack of 'economical' technology and advancements.

the advantage or significance of facebook is that, it has been able to prolonged these phases.

sifarat | 12 years ago

Social networking overall has run its course. below are the phases it has gone through like everything else.

1. Initial Launch: OMG! Cool. Signup

2. More people Jump in, it becomes even more exciting.

3. Everyone starts using it.

4. Eventually, excitement starts to fade away.

5. It becomes boring.

6. People's addiction eventually starts to decline.

7. People totally lose their interest.

8. Eventually, it becomes a ghost town. End.

Google+ even couldn’t pass through the 2nd phase.

I hate democracy, but I will choose it over any other method for transfer of power. The only credit I can give to democracy is, it ensures transfer of power without bloodshed and in a civilized manner, rest is all crap as we know it.

Even though I had my personal interest to learn English, back when internet was not common, or not very accessible due to dialup, i would buy English newspapers and study them, and always keep a dictionary with them.

However, that was bit silly and a lot more time consuming.

The best to improve English is to be part of a community (an online forum). it's up to you which you want to join. Only join the one which interests you. Get involved in lengthy debates and discussiona, I know it's not cool, but just for the sake of learning and improving your English.

If you follow up above advice, your English skills will skyrocket in a very short time compared to traditional methods.

Similar to what was portrayed in Avatar Movie.

We cant prevent credit card credentials theft. what we can do is, opt for 2 factor authentication, one of my credit card companies does that. It's a little pain but it worths it.

Question is, would it make one, 'young at heart' too. Possibly No. And this is all what matters.

As for $50K/Day price tag, it makes it loud and clear, this drug is for the filthy riches at least for couple of years, my average joe and jenny will remain old and ugly. :/
