Have you considered writing a blog or posting your thoughts about your experience and journey in finding the “perfect” tea brew? I’m sure your thoughts would save many amateurs a lot of frustrations. I, myself, am intrigued how nuanced the process is

I used to like writing on compositional notebooks under a professional setting. Now as an avid fountain user, I don’t mind paying a little extra $$ for better paper. Better paper won’t snag the nib of a fountain pen and facilitates quicker drying of the ink

Russia will most likely mobilize and throw about 500k of soldiers at the war. This has been done before by Russia in previous wars. We will probably see the fruits of support and resources by the end of this summer. I’m hoping.. praying that the Ukrainians are able to fight off this zombie invasion

I would also add. If you claim to be respectable journalist or an objective observer, I, as a reader would expect you to have done your research and have a higher standard of your publications. Given your past accolades, presenting anything less without substantial support just tells me you are just trying to make yourself relevant with contrarian views

Absolutely. The signals were there but most of us choose to ignore it. For those who still put out podcasts who still claim that supporting Ukraine is supporting nazis, I get that you’re thinking of preventing a nuclear war but you’re not seeing the big picture. You’re completely full of BS and if you’re thinking that you’re doing journalism, you should go back to school

This is not tech related but geopolitics.

A few years ago, YouTube introduced me to a man, Peter Zeihan. He focuses on geopolitics and the future of nations. I thought his presentations were informative yet I was skeptical. Always kept him and his predictions in the back of my mind.

Fast forward to now, covid and the Ukraine-Russia war. Now I can’t get enough of his words and thoughts

On my reading list, is his books.

- The Absent Superpower: The Shale Revolution and a World Without America

- Disunited Nations: The Scramble for Power in an Ungoverned World

So far, his predictions have been accurate. And that scares me about the next few years

I wish for an airline like this. I would pay extra for the extra seat. Maybe tag the flight as pet-friendly to allow passengers the ability to decide not to take a certain flight due to allergies. I regard my pet as a family member

For the quote you mentioned, i agree with you for the most part. However when it comes to cooking with a wok, another factor may come into play, which would give exception to the quoted “rule”. Some Chinese cuisine require something called “wok hei”, which is essentially cooking under intense heat, something that an induction cooktop could not achieve
