Hackernews has "business-y" folks who might be active. You want people who can show that they've done marketing or hustled in things before. They probably have a blog which would give you an idea of what they are about. They should be on twitter engaging and basically have a good online presence because thats important to spread the word for any business.

Are you guys blogging? Start writing posts about what the celebrity is wearing and maybe talk about the dress and the call to action at the bottom can be to go to buy the dress.

i agree with domenic_s. you can replicate the model for your teams which might be as large as a company. honestly i shared what worked for me. even if this benefits one person, i will be happy.

Good point. I guess HubSpot is large compared to startups. But some basic strategies like referrals can still apply to any size of the company.

If you can be an accredited investor, go on angellist and you can start investing as low as $1000 in startups. Another site which is going to launch after the crowfunding law is passed in January is Wefunder which will be open for everyone.

I personally think its completely stupid to add a hiring CTA mainly because it takes away from your main CTA which is to convert the visitor into a customer. But if it doesn't hurt your funnel then there's no harm of adding it.
