Yes, Sergey, you are now and editor. Thank you for contributing. I’m going to dig into CrateDB soon.

Rockset users scrambling to find a new real-time analytics home....

I'm putting together a public/free Rockset feature comparison matrix.

I want to help educate customers (and other vendors) on what Rockset did so well and what considerations are needed to find a replacement.

HN'ers I realize you are wizards, don't shoot the messenger. Just trying to help.

Thank you, Peter. This timeline is brutal due to how deeply we integrated Rockset into multiple applications. This definitely obliterates any plans I had for Q3 or my summer.

I'm worried more platforms like StarTree, SingleStore, etc will follow suit in the next 24 months.

Any thoughts or assurances on this? Thank you for your post.

Does anyone know if this release includes universal link support?

The flexibility of multiple instances separated by manifest ID is great! But it makes universal links challenging. Would need to include the ID in the URL path?

I spent way too much time trying to get cloudlfared working for team RBAC/MFA SSH solution. Ended up going with Teleport instead.

I really wanted to love CF Teams but is lacking some polish IMO.

You take issue with the sample bias, but then start your sentence with..

> In fact the only folk who benefit

Yes, there are many products that aim to serve other SaaS companies but that just demonstrates the maturity of the industry.

There are so many small SaaS companies serving thousands of business niches.

Congrats Fly.io! I really like your new direction.

Could you help share how this will differ from Clouflare’s Web Worker’s implementation?

I like what CF is doing but it feels more limited. Your example shows using modules. Do you support a number of modules like webtask does?

Great work fredsted. I especially like how you can have multiple people use the same endpoint.

https://tailtub.com/ is a similar project I've been moonlighting on. It's a go binary and it's like Requestb.in but for stdin.

I wanted something where I didn't have to use a UI to start a stream. Your project and others like this I think are especially useful for giving API consumers more insight on what's happening to a resource after a record is queued (say after a HTTP 201).

I've written a small ajax wrapper for Parse.com's API.

https://github.com/srhyne/jQuery-Parse

Just $.parse.get/post/put/delete is needed; served from file:// or a Chrome extension and you have a completely client side prototype or internal business tool.

I'm really excited to see StackMob, Parse, and MongoHQ take off. Talking to one of the MongoHQ guys at MongoDB Seattle and they mentioned they were working on some kind of client side authentication system. jsOAuth is cool as well with StackMob.
