I'm more curious on how the nice I2c timing diagrams are generated. It doesn't look like the result from wavedrom[1] so I'm wondering if there are more tools like this out there.

Incidentally, I tried doing searches to see if those images are just copied from somewhere else, and ended up on what looks like a news site with what looks like content of the article after multiple passes through google translate [2]. Anyone has an idea why would something like this exist? Somebody playing with AI/ML perhaps?

Also, doublecheck the readings from this sensor. There has been plenty of report about the temperature reading being much higher than the actual temperature (in my case, I got 4C higher than ambient). Some people says it has self-heating problem since if you put active airflow the temperature dropped.

Do you know a better library to use for bare-metal purposes then? Because with mbedTLS at least you can get security updates and the code is scrutinised publicly. Way better than some proprietary crypto stacks I have seen where they charge you money for updates.

Isn't mbedTLS part of ARM now? For microcontrollers / bare metal devices that need to connect via Ethernet, it is probably one of the more reputable ones - unless there's another major library I haven't heard of?

Australian in Sydney here.

Most retail shops are closed. A lot of restaurants and cafes are closed. All events cancelled. So there's a lot of casuals / partimers who don't have any work anymore.

Bunnings, BigW, Kmart, all supermarkets are open with social distancing and limiting people in the store. Not sure a bout bike stores. Hobbyco in QVB is still open. A lot of stores closed their retail but are still doing online orders.

Basically Australia uses a combination of blacklist and a whitelist system. Some places where people gather like gyms and pubs are forced to close, and restaurants are forced to takeaway-only. You also have a whitelist on reasons to come outside of your home, which still include work.

My company was good - we spend a week preparing and now almost everyone is working from home, which is probably unusual considering we work in embedded systems. I have several boxes of hardware in my room with me now.

Why do you stick with the rotary phone?

Also, isn't it easier to have a second landline phone attached vs having to play DTMF tones from a phone app?
