I've always wondered how you manage this (2) tech-wise.

Here are my contradictory hypotheses: - I don't expect to find the code for such features in the open-source repo - I guess you dogfood your own product and therefore host exactly what you publish in your open-source repo

How do you "plug" these closed-source features to the product? I've always been curious of this as I strongly believe in this way of doing business for a SaaS.

PS: amazing company ~you've built~ you're building, GG ;)

Thank you for your message. I recognize myself in the "regarded this as one of their highest duties", but sometimes it's a lot, especially when you get your own thing going (covid and such).

So thank you. I feel appreciated for the effort I put in this, even though we don't know each other :)

As a CTO, you're the kind of profile I'd be looking for and would consider (5 years old (start/scale) up with an engineering team of 5). As many explained, you have a grasp at the reality of building a business that most engineers will lack. It'll be easier for you to reach their "tech level" than the other way around.

If you're in the region of Brussels, or willing to relocate, don't hesitate to contact me ;) stan [at] drawbotics [dot] com
