Stand up for what you believe in, and don't give them devices. (I have young kids of my own, and am very much not looking forward to this aspect of parenting).

It seems like we forgot the immense value of an ingrained culture of education, where practically all kids get some form of schooling. Where I live (Wales, UK), the government statistics on school attendance post-Covid are grim, if you are anything less than middle class.

What do archive.org do with books once they've been "archived"?

I have much more faith in the ability of paper books to maintain an archive of knowledge and experience, than an ever-expanding digital warehouse that is reliant on charitable donations.
