If you inspect the app contents like on your FS, right click the app and press show contents on the app you can tell if its an electron app usually if it has .asar files

I noticed I used the certain Chat GPT prompts over and over throughout the day specifically when it came to writing - emails or messages to important people, to improving my grammar.

Good chunks of my day was split screening between my current task and chatgpt. So I wondered, for the specific GPT prompts I use frequently, can I automate it to have the output paste directly on the app I am currently using.

So that's topbar ai, where you can save your most used gpt prompts and use it anywhere on your mac. Just highlight text and trigger it on the "top bar" of your computer or with a keyboard shortcut.

Would love to know what gpt chats/prompts you use frequently and if topbar.ai can help save you time copying and pasting and switching over from your task to chatgpt.

Students or professionals can quickly chat, or use templated prompts on any highlighted text on their computers. Users can bring up a chatbot or pre-defined prompt using keyboard shortcuts after selected any text. Text can be from anywhere on your macbook like from PDF's, browsers, notes, messages, anything.

The goal of my app is to avoid context switching and having to repetitively copy and paste.

I am looking for honest feedback. Works on intel and apple silicon macs. Every user has 25 free messages and then can continue using the app for free if they download local models with ollama.

Setting up my dev environment to begin working takes a couple of minutes. Getting to a ready state for me involves running 2 commands, ensuring docker is running, and opening multiple apps and browser with certain tabs to fully get up and running.
