Could have gone like:
"You're in violation of the ToS."
"Our legal team looked it over. We don't think we are."
"Well here's a more clear version of the ToS. You definitely are in violation."
Unity might think they only changed the wording, but they feel they kept the spirit of the original ToS.

This seems to be a hollow fear. Working that much seems like it would do more harm than good.

Interesting article. I feel like I had a problem with gaming, but I didn't necessarily have an addiction. When I got an Xbox 360 (and by extension Xbox live), I was able to hangout with my friends without going to their house. Even when they weren't playing, it was because I made friends and connections to people all over. Towards the end of my Xbox Live days, I mostly played without my "IRL" friends.
Now, I rarely game alone, but I play games with my friends in person (Fortnite, Mario Party, Mario Kart, Smash etc.). I think for me, gaming was a substitute for social interaction. Most of my interaction is in person now, so gaming has fallen by the wayside.

I have a Fitbit Versa that reminds me to walk 250 steps every hour. So, I usually take at work when it sends me a reminder so I can step away from the computer and relax. I've noticed that work has become more enjoyable, and I've been more successful.

If only my workplace used Azure for some stuff. We're moving to serverless architecture for a lot of our apps, but it's all on AWS so no F# :(. The other .NET guy at my company (wpf) and I have been singing the praises of Azure and using .NET core for future developments. I think that they'll eventually throw us a bone since they don't want to be dependent on a single cloud provider.
However, I have messed around with data manipulation in F# for sports betting, and it's been exceptionally pleasant.
Love the work you guys are doing on the F# team.

Exactly. We're doing the same thing with my C# project at work. It's becoming more "functional" as we refactor and fix bugs. The project has been much easier to work with.

I don't know about general F# adoption, but I've used it for personal projects and I quite like it. I'm trying to convince work to let us use it in production.
