Here in Australia we've had contactless for close to a decade I'd guess. All our terminals have been updated so the only place you really see a terminal that can't do contactless these days is broken ones where that component seems to be malfunctioning.

I spent a bit of time in Swift and came back to web and got into frontend which certainly filled a gap for me!

Now we just need `if let` and `guard let` in TypeScript and we'll be good!

Politics and lobbying mostly I'd guess. Resources sector are the major donors to the two major parties. Resources supported boom growth through the 2000s but we didn't do a great job transitioning to "new technology industries".

There is a national debate on the outcome of the Adani coal mine which in oversimplified terms is willing to risk X0,000 tourism industry jobs to save X00 resources jobs.

The general consensus is there's not really such thing as 'tone' - usually that's just a matter of low bodyfat % which shows your muscles more promimently.

What you're talking about somewhat though is balancing hypertrophy and strength goals - where someone may wish to increase their reps to say 8-20 which is demonstrated with studies to increase muscle size, but is poorer for progressing with strength (where 3-8 reps is more effective)
