This is really a good buy for Microsoft. Yammer has the potential to eventually penetrate most of the medium to large enterprises. I have used it and it really is great tool for multi-location organizations.

I really hate these types of employees. First of all they raise employer's expectations that all the other workers will be willing to put in free hours for them. Second by working for 130 hours they are basically taking away jobs from 2 other people who could be gainfully employed if these types of employees worked a normal schedule. Obviously the counterpoint is that these guys really loved their work so much that they didn't really mind. But in that case isn't it better that they do some charity work, help more needy people rather than helping fill the coffers of mega corporations.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am adding few more things that I forgot earlier -

Stress Testing - ???

App Distribution - Zubhium

App Marketing - AdMob, AppSurfer, AppBrain

Also, is there some service that can provide initial validation of an idea. I need some service through which I can contact 20 users and ask them if they will use a particular app and if so how much will they pay for it and what features they would like?

trapped123 | 14 years ago | on: Google, what were you thinking?

This is what I don't like about Google. They would like to extract content from others for free and then use it for their own profit. But they don't allow others to extract content from their sites or charge exorbitantly to use their APIs. They give something for free only if they can make money by selling ads or if they can capture user behavior.

trapped123 | 14 years ago | on: Social networking websites asked to screen content by February 6 in India

This is coming from the very highest levels of government. So your logic about ill-equipped offices or inadequate training does not apply to them. They are billionaires many time over. The minister who is the brain behind this legislation is one of highest paid lawyers in India so you can't assume that he is not able to comprehend the digital laws and their consequences. They are taking these measures to stifle the voice of middle class which is most vociferous against corruption. So your attempt to generate needless sympathy for them is unfortunately not grounded in reality.

This is Govt Of India's pavlovian response to whenever they feel threatened by any entity. Their first response is to slap an Income Tax notice on them. They did the same thing to some of the anti corruption league members when their movement became too popular for govt's comfort. But for some strange reasons they are very protective of people who have stored trillions of ill-gotten assets overseas even though the foreign governments are ready to provide the information.
