Given the employment rate over the last 30 years has stayed relatively stable at around 60% (https://www.statista.com/statistics/192398/employment-rate-i...) and unemployment had never gone above 10% prior to covid in the same time frame (https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/unemployment-rate) I've wondered what the breakdown is of the remaining 30-35%
