Toptal is now auto-spamming the web for “affiliates”

If the freelance world wasn't doomed enough already after oDesk merged with eLance into Upwork (https://collegetimes.co/upwork-sucks/) ... now Toptal, the "exclusive" freelance agency that claims to screen its freelancers and maintain high ethics is aggressively spamming the web to get more agencies to promote their services, promising an astounding $2000.00 per referral (with absolutely zero details given).

After working on a group project with a Toptal freelancer who spent the entire time trying to get everyone (freelancers and clients) in the group to join through "his links" and lied about his time logs and sabotaged (stole) work from others on the team, I can honestly say this company is annoying the shit out of the internet and probably shouldn't be trusted.
