Ask HN: How do you legally use Plivo in Europe?

I've been playing around with Plivo since a while, but I can not find a way to use it legally inside Europe because of data protection regulations, since they are not adhered to EU Privacy Shield.

I've raised several support requests and Plivo response is that it is not in their roadmap. A couple of weeks ago I've been contacted by a key account manager (for other reasons) and again, their position is not commenting about that.

I am not complaining at all, don't take me wrong, but I am legitimately curious about how European companies use their services, as I am aware that it is widely used.

Do you have any personal experience on it?
