Ask HN: Does LinkedIn rate limit when browsing your own contacts?

I am not sure if what I experienced today is LinkedIn having problems with their servers or they are rate limiting users who browse through the platform.

I have around 1000 contacts and was looking through people I had not been talking to since before pandemic. And after seeing around 20 profiles LinkedIn started showing error page, even when I tried to access it from another browser in incognito mode (though from the same IP). I switched to something else and came back about an hour later, browsed another 20 of my direct contacts only to see the same error happening again.

Is LinkedIn rate limiting people when they are browsing through their direct contacts?

I try the same thing today and with the same result.. They must be rate limiting, and I'm not trying to do anything that I am not supposed to do, simply checking my own 1st line contacts...
