Technologies: I'm an expert engineer and data professional interested in consulting and architecting data pipelines. At Edmunds.com, I worked on a fairly successful ad-tech product and my team bootstrapped a data pipeline using Spark, Databricks, and microservices built with Java, Python, and Scala.
These days, I consult for a "new media" company you probably heard of and, over the past year, I re-built an ETL Kubernetes stack, including data loaders and extractors that handle >10,000 API payload extractions daily. More recently, I helped migrate said stack to Google serverless cloud functions.
My area of expertise includes data interoperability with Facebook Marketing, Facebook Graph, Instagram Graph, Google DFP, Salesforce, etc. That I'm a top-tier developer goes without saying. I'm interested in getting new clients and can help with best practices, architecture, and hiring.
Would love to connect even if it's just for networking!

Being on a sabbatical since November and I'm looking forward to get back to work!
With over eight years of experience, I've worked mainly on frontend/backend, with an everlasting curiosity to understand the product. That said, I'm not afraid to learn a new programming language/framework or to dive into the infrastructure.
Problem solving for me does not stop at the product/code, I'm always running into ways to improve the development process or to help fellow peers by mentoring/coaching.
Are you looking for a software engineer, to drive and implement features, who is product oriented and cares about user experience, yet ensures optimized output for low-end devices?
I'm available as of 1st of August, looking for a full-time remote, long-term position.

I'm an all-round generalist backend engineer with over 4 years of experience and have spent the majority of my career working in fast-paced startup environments. At my current company, I've played a critical role in the design of among many things, the architecture of our inventory, payment processing and billing system. Before joining them, I helped build data aggregation tools and a monitoring dashboard for a UK based Non-Profit that focuses on early childhood development. More in my resume.

I have an engineering and signal processing background, have previously worked on supervised and unsupervised algorithms. I use Python, Pandas, Excel and SQL and am comfortable in learning and working with minimal or no supervision. I care for crafting solutions that are robust, have great attention to detail and work to deliver on time. I enjoy interacting and discussing topics with senior stakeholders, bridging the gap between the technical and business worlds.
I'm looking for roles in Southern California and am looking to bring my experience and skills to a new project.
Thanks for reading!

Hire Me if you want:
+ An iOS developer: I have been writing for iOS since 2011, and this is my strongest (and favorite) skill
+ A full stack mobile developer: I love to write and consume my own APIs.
+ Someone with Leadership experience: I work well with customers that have any level of technical expertise. I was an Army Officer (Captain) for 5 years, and I can communicate up or down effectively.
+ An expert debugger: I frequently get code that "was written by a grad student who left 3 years ago." I love debugging, even in languages where I have little experience.
Don't hire me if you need:
- A great artist: I am good at working with artists and I can make an app match your vision. Graphic design is not my best skill.
- Someone to work on a single part of a large project long term: I love some variety and wouldn't want to be too compartmentalized
- Company has < 25 total employees or Total comp < $145k: I am looking for a stable company and an upgrade from my current position.
