Ask HN: Any HN users with ties to Afghanistan or adjacent regions?

I've just seen videos of wave after wave of people fleeing Kabul in any way they can. It prompted me to start this thread. Does anyone want to share their stories? How is your life being affected right now?

Well, the biggest headache of the fiasco in Afghanistan is going to be for India. Now the fighters are free from fighting in Afghanistan, guess where they are going to be redirected!

The last time i checked India wasnt strictly an adjoining region of Afghanistan.

Only Mexico adjoins the US southern border. But the US still has to deal with migration from all of central/south America.

Look carefully at the map, at the extreme top of India :) Even though it does not direct touch India, that region is as volatile as any other terrorist region. Lot of infiltration happens from that area into India.
