Tell HN: YouTube's payment to Creators is convoluted

A YouTube channel (Charles Peralo) that I follow has money owed, but there seems to be an extremely convoluted process compared to other social medias [0].

Even after reaching out through multiple support channels, Charles was unable to get a resolution to the issue and is unable to get payment.

I've reached out to Charles and he is at a loss as to what to do.

So I thought I'd post it here to try to gain some more visibility on the issue.
