I know you're out there. I can sense you, lurking behind a pile of processed resumes and cradling your reusable coffee cup like a talisman warding against ChatGPT cover letters. You're searching for that unicorn, the 10x engineer motivated by saving the planet who also rocks human skills that would make Brené Brown sit up and take notice.
I... am not that unicorn. More of a walrus, really, with wombat-like characteristics? But I did recently get restructured out of a role in climate-tech before I was done saving the world. I want more. I've got solid technical chops in platform engineering, Linux, AWS, Docker, all that good stuff. I'm an actual human who can talk (and listen) to people while only staring at my shoes approximately 35% of the time.
I work remotely from New Zealand, where green is practically a brand. We have tax treaties so you can pay me from everywhere, and our timezone dovetails nicely with many popular tech hubs including the Western US, Oceania, and Asia.
I make dev teams better. Add me to yours. There's a bit of a problem with CO2 we need to fix.
Cheers, Rich.

13 years of experience in startup software development and DevOps across web apps, cloud, and Linux networking. Six years of leadership in teams of up to 7 people.
Looking for an engineering manager or senior IC position to mentor your team and make something people want.
Here are a sample of things I've accomplished:
* I built a platform for hosting web applications using Kubernetes at a major cloud provider and taught engineers to operate and improve it. It uses Helm to manage the instances of the single-tenant app and includes a Python application to manage the customer instances based on configuration from the subscription management vendor.
* I trained and mentored a team of developers in software patterns, communication, and prioritizing work, and I reduced context switching in the team’s workflows, leading to a 72% increase in velocity in two months.
* I maintain for the community Apt package for Helm, the Kubernetes package manager, which is downloaded more than 200,000 times per month.
* I developed a CI/CD pipeline to build Docker images for a web app, run automated tests, and update the customer applications after every merge.
* I improved performance of a proprietary VPN by adopting Cython, permitting use of C functions in Python, resulting in a 2.5x increase in network throughput when limited by CPU

As such, I've had my fingers in a lot of pies over the course of my career, doing what needs to be done to automate infrastructure and turn it into a commodity while preventing it from becoming a black box. I believe that crafting appropriately leveled documentation is a key to keeping the walls down between infrastructure and application engineering. I love teaching others my craft while continuing to acquire new skills.
I am willing to consider equity in partial exchange for base compensation for the right opportunity at a small startup. I also have the ability to hire at least one more to build a team if desired.

I'm a software engineer with over 2 years of experience working with ERPs in the logistics industry. But I'm open to any industry that is trying to digitalize their workflows. I am a quick learner and problem solver who always thrive to understand the bigger picture as well as the minute details in the task at hand. I try not to restrict myself into any technologies or frameworks, but focus on what the team needs and what I can do and go from there. Additionally, I can communicate fluently in English to discuss technical problems with the clients. If you are looking for a self-motivated, collaborative engineer, I would love to contribute. Thank you for your consideration.

I am excited to announce that I am transitioning from a career in accounting and management in the real estate industry to become a software developer. I have recently completed a coding bootcamp and have been honing my skills with the help of my boyfriend, who is an experienced web developer with over 15 years of experience.
I am looking for my first job as a software developer and am eager to bring my passion for problem-solving and attention to detail to your team. My experience in accounting and management has taught me how to approach complex problems with a clear head and a structured approach. I am confident that these skills, coupled with my newly acquired technical skills, will enable me to be a valuable asset to any team.
During my bootcamp, I learned front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic React. I am a quick learner and always eager to expand my skillset.
In addition to my technical skills, I am a team player who values open communication and collaboration. I believe that a positive work environment is essential for both individual and team success, and I strive to contribute to that environment in any way possible.
If you are looking for a hardworking and dedicated team member who is eager to learn and grow as a software developer, I would love to connect with you. Thank you for considering me for your team!

I'm a senior software engineer with thirteen years of experience - mainly in Python development. I started off working at small agency, a couple startups, a biotech company, and most recently an enterprise insurance leads sales company.
I really enjoy working with Python, and try to focus my career and communities around Python. I've worked with and would work with again both Go and Ruby. For Ruby I've done Rails and Sinatra, and Go I've built a CLI tool and and APIs. While primarily backend focused, I have progressively expanded my front-end skills over time, transitioning from jQuery to VueJS. Collaborating well with fellow engineers is one of my strengths, and I find great satisfaction in mentoring and supporting others in their growth.

Hi! I'm a full-stack software engineer looking for a role on a team where I can do meaningful, purpose-driven work. I'm a very fast learner and enjoy picking up new technologies and diving into internals to more deeply understand the fundamentals of the ones I know, or as a way of learning unfamiliar ones. I'm open to full-stack, frontend or backend positions.
I recently wrapped up work on Otto: an open-source, web-based, automated ETL workflow manager for JavaScript developers that allows users to process up to 255 MB of data in branching workflows of several dozen steps. Our team of 4 built integrations with PostgreSQL and MongoDB and with user-provided JavaScript code and implemented detailed metrics and error logging for active workflows. To learn more, visit us at www.otto-etl.com.
Some other personal/creative projects can be found on my GitHub. I also have a background in narrative games and did a talk at last year's NarraScope about storytelling through UI design.

I've been at my current company since 2021, and was promoted to lead my team last year. I've really enjoyed supporting them and passing my values on, but the time has come to look at moving as the company itself has grown and changed.
Over about 10 years working mostly in the Microsoft stack, I've architected, built or contributed to a variety of business applications - if not at a "product" company, the usual consultancy fun of taking a spec the size of a postage stamp, working out what the solution looks like, and then building it. I'm equally happy being a one-man-band or working in a team.
At home, I've built up a small collection of projects and services depending on need and interest - TrueNAS, an OpenWRT-flashed router for network-wide adblock, and a small troupe of Raspberry Pi's with RTL-SDR for decoding ADS-B. I'm currently mucking with earthly.dev to automate building Arch Linux ARM images and sniffing the traffic from our home SMART meter.I'm physically disabled, so remote or one day a week onsite is critical, but occasional travel with plenty of notice is fine. I'm looking to work with/for someone who values people over KPI's. Ideally your incentives are aligned with building the best product/service possible for the end user and we're doing some good for the world. If you want someone to come in and invest time and effort improving developer quality of life, I also love finding and fixing little annoyances.

Hi! I’m Melissa, a software engineer with a product mindset and experience in product management, sales, and UI/UX design. In my most recent full-time position at AlphaMap I contributed in both engineering and product roles to help the company reach product-market fit. As the first non-founding engineer, I worked closely with the founders to build out numerous core features, and while on product I managed the launch of what has become their flagship product.
Before that, I built a multi-tenant order management system from scratch, then scaled it into a customized fundraiser management SaaS platform (selljar.com). With strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, I enjoy learning new technologies and taking on new challenges. I am passionate about building high-quality tools to help real people. Grab a spot on my calendar at https://calendly.com/melissapearlmorgan/30min and let’s chat! I look forward to discussing how my expertise and enthusiasm can contribute to the work you are doing.

I like solving tricky problems, mentoring others, and carefully documenting my processes. I can do low-level programming, as low as 6502 assembly if that's what it takes, to architect high-level cloud infrastructures. I can interface with ABIs as fluently as with APIs. In my next role, I want a broad mandate to make a meaningful impact within an organization by developing products that address genuine business challenges, with a preference for data related problems.
Recently I built the data table for Jupyter/Pandas that I have wanted for over a decade. The open source Buckaroo (https://github.com/paddymul/buckaroo) data table combines a performant table, summary statistics, and a low code UI to expedite common data analysis tasks.
