Nexus 4. First purchase outside the Apple ecosystem and aside from the size, I couldn't be happier.
Mind, if I could've got an iPhone 5 cheaper without a contract I might've done that anyways (mostly for the convenience, size and a slightly better camera).
But aside from pricing, I was getting a little annoyed by the experience of having to wait a long time for a jailbreak, and now that I actually have an Android device I became aware I'm more of a tinkerer and like the freedom much more than I thought I would.
Motorola Droid 3. Would be a great device, but Motorola stopped releasing updates for it because it didn't sell too well. The stock ROM updates to android GB (2.3). While the android community has managed to get ICS and JB on the phone successfully, the camera sensor drivers need to be reverse-engineered to be used with android 4.x which doesn't look very probable. It's a shame the folks at Motorola can't help out at all or at least provide the devs with some specs. I guess Moto doesn't want to release their smartphone camera driver secrets to the world...
Really hoping someone puts out a android phone with a keyboard that will actually get updates.
iPhone 5. I've had it since September and it does what I need. I'll be happy to keep it for at least 2 years (assuming there isn't a huge leap forward in battery tech)

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace to play MP3s. When I used it as a phone, it had to be recharged every two days and cost me $15 per month.
I went back to using the Nokia.
