Overcollateralized stablecoins (like DAI) are not volatile and they are in the category of cryptocurrency. So they do change that. The change is slight, but ever-growing.

BTC's price itself has grown much less volatile.

> the volatility spikes in Bitcoin were most extreme in 2011, with subsequent spikes in volatility lessening over time

Milolol | 4 years ago | on: Rutgers bars unvaccinated student from attending virtual classes

It sounds like he was notified well in advance and failed to submit the application for exemption in time. Rutgers is allowing many unvaccinated students to attend virtual classes.

He's not a "fully online" student but is taking a virtual class as part of a degree program that requires attendance.

Why would a headline oversimplify things with such a political slant? Oh right, the New York Post, who said we should't wear masks on public transit. (They require vaccines and masks for all of their office employees coincidentally.)

> he doesn’t “find COVID to be scary” because he is healthy and “not in an at-risk age group.”

Odd considering the death rates in his country were disproportionately higher than those in other first-world countries. People get vaccinated not just to protect themselves, but to reduce the spread of disease to others.

The classic mistake of thinking role=button replaces <button>. It doesn't (as mentioned in the linked PR comments). Native HTML buttons are supported by all user agents and assistive technology and provide keyboard and focus requirements by default [1]. The "short answer" they give as to why they did this (a flexbox bug) links to a comment from February saying this was fixed in Firefox 63.
