Usually a PhD is only in the requirements for Research Scientist (RS).
That said, I did a PhD (and am now a RS). It's a fantastic opportunity to learn fully focused during a few years.
But if your sole objective is the career (which is ok!), don't do a PhD. There are much easier ways to break into ML industry.

It's a deep learning course I built for my students around some kinds of "skill tree" like in video games.
PS: I know CSS can be a bit broken on some browsers, I don't care enough to fix that.

Is it possible to then export the cards to Anki?

Mougatine | 4 years ago | on: Ask HN: What are some tools / libraries you built yourself?
It's a Python library giving utilities to handle data in Continual Learning, a subfield of Machine/Deep-learning where data comes incrementally. It's made to be super simple to understand, and can be used in fast prototyping on a notebook to large codebase.
There are others actors in the field that came atfer us and do more ads about their slightly similar library, but we manage to produce something useful to many PhD students, so that's a win for me.

And it's probably why also Algolia shines as search engine for a website vs searching the internet like Google. The former has a small scope (looking for videogames on twich, polo on lacoste) while the latter must be personalized for the user (the snake python vs the programming language python).
