Are there any apps or setting which reduce the saturation of colours? I notice that in many publicly available screens, such as in gyms, the saturation is extremely high drawing my attention to it. I find that this is also the case on my iPhone and Mac.

Certainly I can go monotone. But not desaturate partially.

I love that there are people far more educated than me who are also paid to explore these topics.

A while ago I was pretty certain that gravity was emergent and was caused by Gluon Colour Confinement. Here was my incredibly naive rationale:

Assumption for the purposes of this idea that gravity is not an absolute, gravity is an emergent phenomenon.

My logic

Gravity around a black hole Photons can't escape Heavier particles and even molecules can't escape

Gravity around a planet sized mass Photons can escape Heavier particles and even molecules can escape

Gravity is not a force that acts at a distance (absolute) Spacetime is being dragged into any object with mass (emergent)

---

We are not being 'pulled' into the earth We are being 'kept under' by a shower of space time being consumed

---

What causes this 'consumption' of spacetime around objects with mass?

Gluon color confinement

IMO The current moderation model centres around moderating the things people communicate so as not to offend others. And results in attempts at keeping all communications in the sphere ‘pure’.

Social media however has grown far beyond what I think the original inventors intended at the time of creation. couple that with a multitude of legal jurisdictions and levels of sensitivity I fee we can no longer keep the environment clean to so many different standards and must instead switch to a model which is more akin to defaulting to being exposed to nothing and choosing over time to be exposed to some categories of potentially offensive things.

I did have a stab at this and fee it needs refining for sure. Wether this is a valid attempt or not, I think the worry that the current moderation model isn’t adequate is grounded in reality.

The topic of programmable money aside, Why centralise the ability to freeze an account? If I deem someone (or some organisation) to be a bad actor I would like to block the ability to make payments to them and put that account number on a publicly visible register.

Now this organically created list can be consumed by other people or organisations effectively excluding them from receiving payments.
