Another copycat CEO who read somewhere that in-office work drives "collaboration, creativity and innovation" and thinks that it's the ultimate solution to solving a companies problems. In reality, all these CEO's ONLY care about the stock price and their structured earn-out/incentive compensation within their executive employment agreement and how that plays out for them.

American outrage towards the rights of women in Iran is so fake it’s comical.

They just banned abortion in several states and not a peep from anyone. Where is the outrage for American women?

There is no such thing as unlimited when it comes to resources and/or scalability in the hosting market. You might want to find a local colocation provider, buy a few network switches and servers as a secondary production and backup environment for your startup. Deploying your own infrastructure gives you full control over your startup. Yes it will raise your overhead and yes it’s not cheap but for a sustainable operation it’s a requirement in my opinion. I currently use Azure but I also have my own deployment with my own IP addresses and ASN which I keep spare capacity and keep some important servers on there incase something happens with Azure. Definitely helps me sleep better at night.

I feel for these individuals who are suffering but let’s be clear.

This attempt at overthrowing the regime in Iran with the help of the western media is probably not going to work. This is not the first time that it’s been attempted. If you’re willing to stand against your own government then you’re definitely brave but you will likely deal with the consequences no matter where you’re from. And that’s not something anyone can help with.

I posted this a few months back and I was downvoted but I’ll say it again. It’s important that we all remain neutral and promote non-interventalisim on this platform. One life harmed or lost is not worth it!

Nobody has the answers. Social media is an experiment gone wrong. Just like dating apps and other pieces of software that exist that are trying to replace normal human interaction. These first generation prototypes have a basic level of complexity and I expect by 2030 technology should evolve to the point where better solutions exist.

I have an XPS 15 I got at Costco for about $2k years back that I used out in the field (i7, 16gb RAM, 1TB NVMe). Extremely happy with it and it’s still my primary go-to laptop. No extended warranty, never repaired or any issues.

I just purchased my first MacBook Pro (M2) a few months back and I absolutely love it! Now that I no longer work out in the field, I always have both laptops at my desk mounted on two Twelve South Curve Stands with an extra monitor in between. I have a magic keyboard (Touch ID) and an MX Master 3S. Can’t complain!

Always book directly through the hotel website. Priceline has deals but their customer service is horrible. Also it seemed like the majority of the time I would book an express deal they would put me in an accessible room. I’m not disabled and generally no issues with it but I found it odd. Not only that, they will never honor their “price match guarantee.” They state that if you find a cheaper price on a express deal they will refund you up to 200% of the difference. They will act like you are crazy if you call them after finding a cheaper rate. I learned my lesson the hard way. Don’t book through 3rd party travel websites.

Very sorry to hear that. Have they performed a CT scan or MRI? Have they ruled out MS? Some of the symptoms you mentioned might be caused by MS (Multiple Sclerosis).

Underwriters are much more strict after the 2008 crash and it’s become more difficult to qualify for a conventional mortgage. New home builders were building less overall and focused mostly on building expensive ($500K+) rather than affordable homes. In addition, cash buyers still make up over a 3rd of US home purchases which include many investors. A healthy drop in prices might happen in the near term but any kind of doomsday scenario is unlikely to play out IMO.
