You are not a professional at everything and you don't know what you don't know so things that seem easy might not be and in fact could have significant dangers. A person that does the thing every week is going to be efficient and knowledgeable. It also creates jobs and supports the economy. A lot of strong independent types are frugal and arrogant and self centered to the point of being a miser.

There are people who make a lot of money from the consumption of gas and tires and oil. Also the manufacturing and selling of automobiles. Those people make a lot of financial contributions to politicians and sometimes become politicians themselves.

When there's extremely abundant capital available the opportunity for the business owners to take that kind of risk is valuable and the creative artist responsible for fulfilling that opportunity deserves a fair equitable share of the revenue that results.

"business people" will pretty much only allocate resources to endeavors that are financially profitable for themselves and these same people quite often provide financial incentives to politicians who promise to advocate for policies that result in additional profitability for the business people regardless of the environmental or social consequences. Those elected politicians need to be replaced and the capacity for the "business people" to influence elected officials with financial contributions should be limited and involve mandatory transparency. No more unlimited dark money pools.

Around here they use multiple different local companies and make them compete against one another. And there's no guarantee of contract renewal so they can just keep dropping whoever costs more. It ends up being super toxic for the employees and the service quality reflects that. I stopped using Amazon.

Local multiplayer is back thanks to Steam and their "Remote Play Together" feature. Remote players connect to the hosts screen share. It is excellent. No extra licenses required.
