Hi there,

Thanks for the note. We obviously have bulk rates that get competitive when you get to higher volumes. Feel free to contact [email protected] if you are interested.

One thing to consider is you are ordering 100s of the exact same postcard. If you had to print out 500 different postcards, each going to 500 different addresses that you had to write, then apply postage to all 500, all of a sudden your time saving becomes hugely valuable. Not to mention you need to shop around for a printer, handle the image and prepress process, etc.

I think you'll find that if you shop around to competitors we are very competitive and in fact beat pricing with other comparable APIs.

This is awesome but I'm concerned about how it would be too easy to switch cards (accidentally). In the FAQ they say it's fine if its dropped, handed into a booklet, etc. Sounds fine in theory but what happens when you hand the card to the waiter/bartender and they happen just to grab it where the circle is? Won't that change the card?

Another concern is in bars - your CC# gets a tiny bit wet (drunk ppl, spilled drinks on table, etc.). Does this card stop working if its splashed a little?

My two cents.

This is awesome though.

Hi all - sorry it was unclear. Our trial runs are not necessarily one week. In most cases candidates have full time jobs and can't commit that much time. It's usually 2 days (over weekend) or late afternoon for a couple hours.

Post has been updated to reflect this. Most our candidates actually appreciate the personal experience and we don't just bring anybody into a trial run unless we're already mostly sure we're ready to make an offer. I think that everyone who has gone through the process thus far can speak positively on it. It isn't just a one sided street, candidates can get a sense for whether THEY will like the job, team, and culture at the company as well.

Other people have done similar things (longer timeframes even) with good success. See David w/Weebly: http://www.sequoiacap.com/grove/posts/akzj/trial-week-our-hi...
