Ask yourself, what is your favourite paid service that you use nearly every day and then talk to your friends about? Maybe it's an awesome game, or a cool weather app, or an accounting package, or whatever... build a product/service that is so compelling that your users will sell it for you.
I'm in no way affiliated with Sabri Suby, but I recommend checking out his concepts... #1 start by giving your customers something for free and begin to build trust. Google this: "Sabri Suby Magic Lantern Technique".

This type of system requires a mindset that involves multiple parties, not just the receiver, so it becomes a non-trival exercise when considering the attention of multiple parties using multiple email systems.
In a practical sense, we looked at adding a multi party reputation system to the email standard which would involve adding meta data to emails to indicate the "trust" level between the recipients. There are clearly quite a number of technical challenges for this type of system. Fastmail seems to be doing some interesting work in this space.

1. Does this product/service exist and pretty much solve my problem? Then use that.
2. If not... I am the first customer... I am building it for myself because I want to use it. (If it's a network product, then find a partner for the idea.)
3. Evaluate MVP do I find it useful, am I using it regularly? Does it solve the problem for me?
4. Introduce someone else to your product/service maybe a friend or family and get them hooked.
5. Evaluate engagement is my friend still using it ... am I still using it?
6. Build features for you and them.
7. Evaluate ... do you guys both love it?
8. Get some more friends using it... if it's great maybe you even start to get strangers.
Now get to your questions... how can I grow... how can I make money.

You don't need a lawyer, emails will hit the bot wall, just call them , and keep calling them, and it that doesn't work, go visit them. Got to fly to CA, then do it, turn up at their door and talk to them.

It would be easy to move. Just upload the web site files to a Github repository with index.html in the root path, and turn on Github pages in the setting tab.
Other benefits that immediately come to mind are: - Anyone can submit suggestions, these are called Pull Requests. - Eventually you can add trusted community members as collaborators and they can edit pages directly. - There is already a massive community that know this interface. - It's free for public sites. - Last but not least, it's super easy to edit the site, just do it directly in the browser, no need for builds, deploy scripts, etc.

I checked out riot.im but honestly I found the interface really confusing. Also, the lack of integration to a major auth service like Google/Twitter/Github/etc is a real turn off for me.

Couple of things I'd suggest. (take/or leave) You are clearly super knowledgeable in all the products you've mentioned, but it seems like the audience for this site is the newbie trying to break into the industry. With that in mind, I'd try to stick to a single product recommendation, and deep dive into it. For instance, in the pick a hardware platform you've listed four options, consider picking one, and if you feel the need to dump your extensive knowledge of the others, then perhaps do it in another section/addendum.
Consider hosting this where you can build a community. Github pages does this sort of thing for free.
Again, thanks and good luck with the site!

Nursing, for aged care and home care, is the perfect storm, dynamic mobile teams with a fair amount of staff turnover.
I was also partially inspired by "The Social Dilemma" to take a look at ways to help break away from social media lock in.
I have been building web apps in the aged care sector for a number of years, primarily for home care and other mobile workforce applications.
Yes (sry) you have to create and account and login... for those about to comment, login=skip, it is still the easiest way to build a web app.
