on: California’s Monarch Butterfly Population Hits Record Low
Super sad, it's not even something that requires measuring to see. I visited the Monarch sanctuary in Santa Cruz in 2017 and there were thousands of butterflies easily visible. In 2018 it was so hard to spot even groups of tens.

Only PGE right now? Are you implementing Green Button Connect? How are you getting past the requirement for users to fill out CISR forms to allow 3rd party to manage data?

on: Show HN: Traceur, automatically track packages found in Gmail
I used Deliveries and built this because I was tired of manually adding tracking codes to their app. Agreed, it's not for every one but it solved a problem for me.

on: Show HN: Traceur, my weekend project to auto-track shipments found in Gmail
Basically, Traceur requests access to a Gmail account via OAuth and scans hourly for any valid FedEx, UPS or USPS tracking numbers. If it finds some, it adds it to the database and periodically checks for status updates. I plan on charging $1.99 per month for this product as it seems very useful for general consumers (I started building this because I wanted it for myself) and also people who order a lot of things for their business. (Artists, repair, office managers, etc.) If you want to try it out, each account comes with a 7 day trial period. I have a couple 1 month free codes I'm willing to hand out for people who are willing to give me some constructive feedback.
Next features I'm working on are notifications (via Pushbullet) and then hacking out the mobile applications.

Of course we did. We've been behind almost every coup of any truly democratic (we Americans like to call this communism) society in the last century.
