I mostly meant that I don't have any faith that the code will work correctly. I'm not even assuming malice. There are all kinds of super simple rounding mistakes you could make that would mess up the rounding. Especially if you're writing for a market that you're not part of (eg, out-sourced coders living in one country, but writing POS code that is deployed in another country).

That said, do I think that someone, somewhere, has/does/will out of malice abuse this specific oft-ignored dark corner of the marketplace, for personal gain? Yeah, I absolutely think that:

> it will round however the manufacturer told it to round (which will be correctly)

either you're way too optimistic, or i'm way too pessimistic, but lemme tell you, we do not see eye-to-eye on that point.

- the size difference is because KeePass offloads a lot of work to the .Net framework, and in contrast KeePassXC does that same work itself.

- I'm not positive I'm understanding your question, but KeePassXC takes security just as seriously as the original KeePass does

- Yes, you can use KeePass2Android, or any other KeePass compatible software. KeePass and KeePassXC use exactly the same database format

I've read Metamorphosis many times over the years, and I've come to the conclusion that it's a very subtle dark comedy. But of all the punchlines, including the ending, are (for lack of a better term) situational. I can't explain further without spoilers, so HN might not be the right format for it.

That's the total population of the entire US, not the population of people who would be eligible for the full wage. There are a number of demographic groups who would not be eligible for various reasons, eg children (~74M as of 2010 census). That reduction alone is $3 Trillion.

Beyond that, it looks like wages being roughly half of the GDP matches our current setup fairly well: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/graph/?g=2Xa

I believe that's the case at this time. However, we do have many remote employees, and it's likely that we'll list other remote positions in the future. Also, I can't give specifics or make promises as I am not involved in hiring, but there might be a possibility that remote would be allowed for the right candidate, even on a position that isn't listed as such. I don't think there would be any harm in applying for a position not explicitly listed as remote.

So, I don't want to just dodge the question, but I'm neither part of the legal nor marketing teams, and as such, I suspect I'm not cleared to talk about this in public. I doubt there's a way for me to respond to this that will satisfy both you, and the marketing and legal departments. Willing to call it a draw?
