on: Time Series Prediction Using LSTM Deep Neural Networks
> I've built many systems in this area, but it wasn't until I started working in the Indian market (>10 yrs ago) that it became abundantly clear that trying to calculate the long/shorts signals using historical (/time series) data was a waste of time. (And yet my primary role was to provide tools that did exactly that).
I'm currently working on building similar tools in my area of work for the Indian market and would really appreciate if you could shed some more light into the things you learned from your experience in working in this domain.

on: Ask HN: What were/are you doing at age 25? What would you change?
Currently 25. I'm currently working full-time as a programmer in a startup, and working another job on weekends. Have been trying to spend an hour or two every day in exploring the domain of Machine Learning. The rest of my free time is spent in reading (I try to read a book a month), watching a TV series or just browsing various tech and business related websites.
I've never been busier in my life. And yet, I feel like I haven't been able to accomplish a lot with the limited time I have at my disposal after work and a long day's commute. As a result, I have to cut back on my sleep. I average about 5 hours of sleep a day every week, which is not nearly enough. I do get burned out from time to time, following which I take a day or two off every month or so to recuperate.
My plan for the next few years is to start my own tech business. At 25, everything I do on a daily basis is my attempt to attain financial freedom so that I can spend the rest of my life doing what I really want to do and no longer work for money, but work because I want to on things I find meaningful.

on: Show HN: Simple website for posting updates on your side projects
I really liked the minimalist design and color pattern of the product. Just one feature request: can I also see how many unique visitors have been on my side project page? The visitor count increments every time I reload the page, which may not really tell me how many visitors have shown interest in my project. A unique visitor count would give me better insights.
I was about to start working on a side project of mine today and I couldn't have found Prehave at a better time. Do visit https://prehave.com/p/bookay for my side project's constant updates!

on: Ask HN: What did your 'Show HN' project turn into?
I've bookmarked your website for future use. I have lost count of the number of hours I've spent in coming up with unique names for my web projects, and your software would surely help me in the name brainstorming process.

on: Show HN: A weekly email of the best entrepreneurial opportunities
I liked the idea and the sample issue that was provided. Have even registered my email address for the same. However, I really hated the background gif on your landing page. Never been a fan of moving pictures in the background of a website.

on: Show HN: A hackernews for wantrepreneurs.Motivational articles, books, discussions
The term 'wantreprenuer' could seem insulting to a lot of to-be and current entrepreneurs. Even if your website is content-rich, you'll put off a lot of traffic because of that term. Nobody likes being labelled a 'wantrepreneur'.

on: Show HN: Free PDF signing over email
Works just as intended. I work in a startup where we constantly have to send invoices and contracts to our users, and this service could really alleviate the hassles of legality at our end.

on: Show HN: Learn programming through free project-based courses via email
I'm one of the co-founders of
http://www.grayscaletraining.com. We have tested this model of free email subscription based courses to teach programming with over a 100 students from our alma mater. So far, the response has been positive. Any feedback regarding our model would be highly appreciated.

on: Hack.chat – A minimal, distraction-free chat application
Well, I have been using your app for about 20 minutes now, and it sure does what it is supposed to do. The most annoying thing I have used in a long time!

on: Why Twitter is in Trouble
The fact that the term 'hashtag' is now a part of people's everyday vocabulary is a testament to the indication of how successful Twitter has been and still is.

How is it any different from the many other location bookmarking applications already available in the market?

on: Every 3 meters of the world given a unique location with 3 words
I wonder how this idea could help in delivering stuff in particular locations, like a certain apartment address. This idea, although an innovative one, could still fail in a lot of scenarios.

on: To End Soccer Riots, Brazilian Club Forces Fans to Sit Next to Rivals
One of the reasons why this would work is that you'd need to befriend a rival spectator before you enter the arena for the match just to get entry inside the stadium. Spending some time with a rival spectator would make one realize that even the rival team's supporters are football fans too at the end of the day. Great initiative !
