I mean, this isn't all that surprising. Not unlike buying a twenty-year-old visitor's guide to a city and finding that a number of the shops and restaurants have closed, the stadiums have different names, etc.

Anecdotal counter point: I have never seen a skinny person that regularly drinks diet cola

The beauty is you can contribute in any way. If you're a web designer, you can help with their site. If you're a technical writer, you can help improve documentation. You don't need to contribute to the core codebase to contribute to the project at large.

on: LastPass autofill exploit
I work for a company with 3 owners and approximately 40 people. It would be okay but we need the shared 'team' aspects of a password manager -- I could be mistaken but I don't think 1password can handle a team sharing logins. I'm sure there are other options out there.

I use Lastpass for work and can't stand it. I use 1Password for personal stuff (and some private work stuff now that I think of it) and highly recommend it. It's got a Chrome browser extension, mobile app, and like someone else mentioned below you can sync the encrypted db to a cloud service (iCloud, Dropbox, etc) so you can access it from all of your devices.

git is such a great example for OP. It's become so ingrained in my workflow that I forget it's there. It really is a perfect application.

on: Bootcamps vs. College
I'm not sure what this means. Do you think there are smart people who would or could be good developers who did not major in computer science and later went on to attend a 'bootcamp'? Do you think it's possible that developers who are not good could graduate from college with CS degrees?
