I think a better headline would have been something more like "Jenkins doesn't have the features I require". There are plenty of examples of older pieces of software or older languages that still work perfectly fine today.

I have a 6s+ that I traded the battery and rear camera out at an Apple Store for less than $100 total. My rear camera was very shaky and would never focus on images so they came out blurry. I think it's totally worth a battery replacement and using your hardware as long as you can. My battery life is way better now and I'm back to going days(!) without charging.

Yes.

For reasons I won't get into, I went remote after working for a company for a couple years. What I gained in flexibility I lost in advancement opportunities. In my view, unless you're a very rare commodity, the workers closest to the organization are the ones most likely to be promoted.

If you value flexibility, work remotely. If you value advancement, it's probably best to stay at HQ (if that options is available to you).
