You could also after a time keep stats to determine when the prices are most likely to go down, and then only get the user's attention at those intervals.

Set it up so the user's browser scrapes it when a button is pressed, and send a reminder every X days as chosen by the user....
User comes to your site, clicks a button, and Southwest's page loads in an iframe, where js does the lifting.

"Source available" - ie licensed for end users to build and use, vs "open source" would be a good middle ground for such cases.

Coreboot does run on their laptops, but it has too many blobs to make the Libre crowd happy.
Purism has mentioned they may take interest in porting the rest of the way to libreboot someday.
The real issue too is that a lot of naysayers dislike Purism because they provide modern competition to people selling Librebooted laptops.
