What a moment, I just sent a big email and the main call to action was Twitter spaces happening in a few hours. When I clicked the live link thought that I made an error and will have to send out an apology email lol never been more glad Twitter was down :D

Yes, I agree a sentiment against having more children is dominant mainstream. My experience has been that more and more people are ignoring this sentiment and going after it.

It’s an idividual thing and for myself I’m grateful to have as many kids as God gives me.

Great commeny. Of course they can grow up to be happy. My wife is the only child and she’s great. I’m just talking about pronciple and more of a feeling. It’s not a law nor a rule .

mustafabisic1 | 2 years ago | on: Therapy as a way of aligning with your subconscious

I live in a country where there’s a lot of stigma about therapy, but I really loved my experience with it.

In my first session I discovered a huge sticking point of mine. I go and do something for self-care like gym or a massage, but the entire time I feel guilty because my wife’s home with kids.

It was obvious when I realised it, but it happened for years prior.

Niw my experience during these activities js so much better.

P.s. Whenever I see a headline with all lower case letters I immediately like it more. Lol

The title makes it seem like a bad thing, but it makes total sense to me to want to cut unnecessary meetings down and use "different tactics" of getting there. I work in a company right now where we have 1 meeting at the start of the week and that's it (unless something comes up - it rarely does) It's a game-changer for my output and productivity.

mustafabisic1 | 3 years ago | on: Get Paid: Understanding and Negotiating Compensation

I have the silliest "negotiation" style. I do my research on the person and the company.

If I like the leader and the company, when it comes to pay I just say to them: "I'd love working with you and I know you'll give me the best you can".

It worked out for me as I'm incredibly happy with my role.

That being said, the data is there, and if I had to do it again, I'd negotiate.

I love this story and I wish you all the best. It goes to show that everybody has their own pace and journey.

I feel like a lot of people are happy in their work even without a side gig, but it's kind of not cool to say.

I'm totally happy with my role and couldn't be happier and more committed to my current job.

The beautiful thing is that I have my own pace as well on a side gig. After 10 years of thinking and planning I just started on one faithful day with a HN comment 23 weeks ago.

Today my weekly newsletter for remote working parents has 23 newsletter sends and over 100 subscribers (muscle)
