Bought Youtube Premium and have no regrets paying for a platform that taught me so much.

I once let the Premium lapsed and was bombarded by aggressive ads. Immediately turned Premium back on and it was almost, I kid you not, zen-like.

Most of the rules actually applies across all types of roles and not just a engineering one.

Some tips to improve the readability:

- Give more line-height between each bullet point. - You use white for time and blue for unvisit links. The contrast for the time is stronger than the link, resulting in more reading effort. Change up the contrast to focus where you want the reader to look at easily

Notice how these mentioned Asian countries are countered that focus on academics.

I'm a Singaporean and we spent alot of time in our younger years straining our eyes on books and computers.

I was literally in a rut a few days ago. Super lethargic. Didn't want to reply to email, didn't want to make plans for the business...

Then I started surfing amazon books because, you know, anything to procrastinate working.

I came across one of Tim grover's book (Michael Jordan' trainer) and I downloaded the sample to read.

It's a little OOT but something he said rang a bell. He talk about humans overthinking especially in tough situation and gave a pep talk on being relentless. My takeway was "don't think, just do". Suppress the negative voice and just work on it. Nothing is easy. If you want something bad enough, don't think. Just do it.

I think it triggers my inner motivation on why I started my business and being hyper aware of the negative self talk.

So I put myself in robot mode and just started doing things.

I'm not sure how this is healthy for my mental health but it worked.

Nothing to do with the IDE but I just want to point out that the homepage design is sick. The 3D space in the background did not affect the scroll performance and it adds a really good vibe without affecting the UX. Love it!

Read this book called Profit First by mike michalowicz. This saved me so much time from agonizing on what to do with my money every month.

Since you are based in US, the advice there will fit you better. I'm based in Singapore so advice like taking yearly dividend from the company is not feasible for me.

Your website (axiom) needs to be better mobile-optimized. Elements be cut off by other elements. Irregular spacing, etc.

Doesn't look like a VC-backed app right now.

Compared to DK website, his looks way way more polished.

I think Sahil brought up a great point with talent hiring in a competitive space (tech) that I found to be repeatedly true - flexibility. Autonomy is a helluva drug.
